Major highways connect Ekaterinburg with Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Kurgan, Khanty-Mansiysk. The international transport corridor «Berlin-Vladivostok» passes through Ekaterinburg. The speed limit is 90 km/h on highways and 60 km/h in populated areas. Dipped headlights must be on at all times.
